Move over cupid, I need my pancake fix 💗🥞

I’m not joking when I say that pancake day is my favourite day of the year - what better than the excuse of having pancakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner all in one day?!

In the past, I haven’t tended to venture out for pancakes on Shrove Tuesday, but the idea of someone doing all the prep and cleaning up is actually quite appealing. Maybe because since I’ve been diagnosed with coeliac disease, I don’t know many places that serve gluten free pancakes, but it got me thinking that there must be loads of restaurants and cafés across the UK who serve gluten free pancakes all year round. So, if you’re a pancake lover like me, or just enjoy the sweet breakfast now and again, then wouldn’t it be great to know where these places are?

Obviously, when we launch Glee (it’s coming very soon don’t you worry) we’ll have a whole map of places who serve gluten free pancakes, both chain restaurants and small individual ones, and you’ll see honest reviews from your fellow coeliac and gluten free foodies. But for now, so that we don’t have to wait any longer to find out where we can go for gluten free pancakes, I’ve put together a list of places, by region, where you’ll find gluten free pancakes on the menu. 🙌🏽

Please bear in mind that this is a list of places that offer gluten free pancakes and not specifically ones that are suitable for coeliacs. I know that some are safe, because as a coeliac I have eaten at a few from the lists below like Bill’s and the Centre Parcs Pancake House. You’ll likely find an allergen statement on the venue website but, if you do want to double check with the venue, I would recommend contacting them before you go to avoid disappointment. Like I said earlier… soon you’ll just be able to search on Glee and see what others have said about their coeliac suitability etc!
